Spring Time Orange Bronzini

Ingredients

  • 2 bronzini, scaled & gutted

  • 3 oranges (1 juiced, 1 sliced, 1 wedged)

  • 1 lemon (wedged)

  • 1.5 tsp. Kosher salt

  • 1.5 tsp. Black pepper

  • 1.5 tbsp. smoked paprika

  • 2 tsp. onion powder

  • 2 tsp. garlic powder

  • Olive Oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425. Rinse and pat dry the bronzini.

  2. Juice 1 orange, wedge 1 orange, and slice remaining orange into slices. Wedge 1 lemon.

  3. Mix all dry seasonings together and lightly oil the inside and outside of the fish.

  4. Season the inside and outside (optional) of the fish. If not seasoning the outside, you will need less seasoning mix.

  5. Take orange wedges and place them underneath each fish to slightly raise it off your baking sheet. Gently pour orange juice over them. Fill the body cavity of each fish with the remaining orange wedges and lemon wedges. Lay orange slices over each fish.

  6. Bake for 25 minutes. Turn oven off and let fish rest in oven for 3 - 5 minutes.

  7. Remove fish and squeeze any remaining orange and lemon wedges over the top of each fish.
